Scholarships & Sliding-Scale
We offer a deeply sliding scale so as to keep this program financially accessible to all. The true cost of this year-long intensive program is $5,200 per participant, however our sliding scale goes from $0 to $10,000. For those who can afford to do so, paying above the true program cost allows us to offer partial and full scholarships to those who could not otherwise participate. Keeping our program financially accessible to all is a deep commitment of ours, and we appreciate your participation in that commitment through redistributing resources in that way.
There is more information in the application to help you assess and reflect on where to place yourself on the sliding scale. As you make your decision, please consider not only your own income/assets and financial responsibilities, but also resources you have access to as a result of your wider network–for example, a job that has professional development funds to supplement your participation in this program or friends/family members who could contribute to your participation. Because this program is not about your personal social mobility but is about strengthening your capacities to help create a more just and joyful world, we encourage you to engage your community in supporting your participation -- whether that is financially, in the form of childcare or rides, emotional/moral/intellectual support, etc.

"Every single workshop has been extremely impactful and powerful and valuable to me. It's amazing to me how much I receive from both the presenters of a workshop and from what the members of the cohort share. The workshops that stand out particularly to me are those focused on Disability Justice (DJ). DJ is so incredibly inclusive in every way and intersects every other possible justice movement. It has been life-changing in the ways that I am able to see myself and others and has really helped me counter a lot of shame. One of the ways I've been trying to include learnings from those workshops in everyday life is by remembering to not center/assume certain bodies/minds in the way that I think, talk and interact with people, especially in spaces where I have an opportunity to facilitate."
