JJ Omelagah

JJ Omelagah (they/them) is a transgender vocal artist whose performance roots began in their church where they have been a featured soloist for many years. JJ has had the honor to sing for The National Day of Forgiveness, San Francisco Women Against Rape, SF Pride, in the National Queer Arts Festival 2017 as a guest artist with the Singing Bois, and in the National Queer Arts Festival 2018 as a guest artist in Enough. JJ is a trained Circle Sing Facilitator in the style of Bobby McFerrin and loves to help everyone connect with the power of their voice. JJ’s vocal style has been described as soulful, mellow, and smooth and their mission as a vocalist is to inspire and uplift through the power of sound.​
